Instructions for Upgrade + Standard Calibration
- The upgrade is only applicable to instruments with USB port (for older models contact Microtronics).
- The upgrade includes the standard calibration of the instrument.
- Book the service using the online shopping cart, then send the instrument to Microtronics.
- The cost of the upgrade is 330 € + 115 € Calibration + 25 € return shipment (excluding VAT).
- Processing times: from 2 to 5 working days (excluding transport).
N.B. For some models the upgrade may include the replacement of the case.
N.B. Please specify in the notes if you wish to have the old case returned

UPGRADE PRO – SPECIFICATIONS
The Hardware Upgrade consists in the transformation of the "old" instrument into the newest BlueForce Smart Pro. The upgraded instrument acquires all the Smart Pro technical characteristics, including the use of the services of the BlueForce Cloud portal (which allows the management of documentation for the Technical File).
STANDARD CALIBRATION – SPECIFICATIONS
The Standard Calibration consists in the verification of the measurement error of the instrument, in the modalities foreseen by the internal procedure and in the environmental context of the Microtronics laboratories. A Calibration Certificate will be issued with metrological traceability to Accredia National traceable samples. The service includes the update of the calibration date in the instrument's memory and any adjustment to restore the required accuracy limits.
ACCREDITED CALIBRATION – SPECIFICATIONS
Microtronics also offers the EN17025 calibration service (only for BlueForce Smart and Pro instruments) in collaboration with a European Accredited Laboratory. An Accredited Calibration Certificate will be issued by the external laboratory. The service includes the update of the calibration date in the instrument's memory and any adjustment to restore the required accuracy limits. Detailed technical specifications of the Accredited Calibration are available on request.
