EN 12425 - Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates - Resistance to water penetration – Classification
EN 12425 defines water resistance classes for doors and gates, indicating how well a product is able to prevent rainwater penetration in windy and rainy conditions
Aim
- Provide a standardised classification (0 to 9) according to the water pressure applied without infiltration occurring;
- Allow manufacturers to declare performance in the DoP (Declaration of Performance) according to EN 13241.
N.B. The pressure refers to the difference between inside and outside during the water spray test.
