EN 12426 - Industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates. Air permeability, Classification
This standard establishes the classification of doors and gates according to the amount of air that can pass through when subjected to a pressure difference, under closed conditions.
Aim
- Classify doors according to their air tightness (important for energy efficiency, comfort and thermal performance);
- Provide a reference for the Declaration of Performance (DoP) in the CE marking according to EN 13241.
N.B. The tests are performed with the door fully closed and locked.
